No matter your political views, the video below, from Saturday Night Live this past week, is pure genius. Tina Fey "got" Sarah Palin perfectly, and just as importantly, made fun of some real women's issues. And perhaps humor can get people talking!

gosh. I'm for McCain-Palin. Does that mean I shouldn't visit here? hmmm.
I'm sure Obama-Biden will win, and while I will be displeased, and won't like the way the country is taken, it really won't affect my life.
They're all just politicians anyway.
Only, why won't women stick up for Palin? Is it because we don't think women should be in national politics? Or that only Ivy League women should be? Is there a class thing going on perhaps? wow.
Oh well, pretty site.

I found your blog a few weeks ago. I'm intrigued by your calligraphy studies. I'm self taught and can never seem to get beyond my current level which is ummm, adequate but no where near stellar.
As for McCain/Palin - yikes. I tremble at the thought of them in office.
PS: I love your banner.

Oh, Diane, not to worry... I was trying to be as non-political in my comments on that post, as possible. I am shocked and frightened at McCain's choice... as someone said on Bill Maher after the interview w/Charlie Gibson & Palin a couple weeks ago, "Charlie Gibson interviewed Palin more than McCain did!" Now that's scarey! In all good conscience, I cannot support four more years of the Republicans in the White House. Enough is enough!

Please accept my apologies if I said too much in my comment above. I still feel that way but I don't know if it was acceptable to say something so straightforward on your blog. I enjoy your blog and I know it isn't a political forum. Let me know, either way.

Dear Kathy, Oh, I think they're talking. Please excuse me if I step on your toes, (I hope not!) This woman is nuts to be running for vice president. And the GOP is nuts to have selected her. One of my daughters lives in Alaska and she said nobody, nobody would vote for her. I really don't want her as our president.
