This is a card I made last night for my new internist, a wonderful woman whom I had the pleasure of working with about 20 years ago, while she was doing her Residency. We hadn't seen each other in all those years, but it was like no time had passed at all. What a wonderful, comfortable feeling! I'm so happy she accepted me into her practice, I could just squeal!!! (Her practice is "closed", but I had "connections", and for once in my life, I wasn't afraid to ask for a favor... as I approach the big 5-0 I'm practicing asking for help, something I really have a hard time doing).
Envelope made out of painted tyvek for my new doctor... I love how it turned out... some of the white areas are painted w/a white pearlescent paint that has a wonderful sheen to it!
This card is a thank you note I made for another old friend, to say thank you for her help. I just couldn't seem to work with any other color than red last night... so I'm sending out love and thanks on this red letter day. Hope your day is a great one!
Red is such a great, full, rich...potent color, in so many ways!
looks great here..

Kathy.....wow, I really mean WOW! All of these are absolutely gorgeous. Love the first one. The second one is so dreamy...just beautiful. Love all the white space on the third one. It makes everything stand out beautifully :)

love this card, Kathy!
wish I had some of that "heartbeat" paper for backgrounds for some new Valentines...
my neighbor is a doctor, perhaps I'll ask him about it.
anyway, having "recently" passed the 50 mark, I, too, am finding it easier to ask for help.
life is too short to struggle alone.
still working on your postcard, will get it in the mail this coming week.
have a good one!
