I started this post yesterday and somehow lost it, so I am hopeful my friend Michelle Ward will give me a day of grace! Michelle's latest challenge on her blog "Green Pepper Press Street Team" is to think about what is our Muse...
Well, Michelle, I've given it a LOT of thought... and I'm still not any closer to an answer for you today than I was two weeks ago...
Well, that's about it for today's inspiration... there's so much more and so little time... I hope I've turned you on to a few new things, and if so, I hope you have as much fun with them as I do! Now, go make something!
Kathy,
Thanks for the info on Chris Duarte. I have been looking for great guitarists to compile a CD for my 14 year old son, who is a semi-aspiring, yet nothing can be TOO interesting, guitarist. I'll add Chris to my list of musicians to look for some downloads from. Thanks! and Cheers!

Kath - just back to see your additions to the post. great stuff! haven't hard of those pens - the close-up looks interesting, like the tip will bust right off with any pressure. but if you recommend, i'll try! what happened to the first part of the post where you talked about magazines?

Great post! I'm also a photoshop junkie, I'll have to check out the book. Somerset Studio is coming out with Digital Studio mag in March, something else to fuel our junkie cravings! ;^)

Kathy - magazines are a terrific choice for a Muse. They are much more current than books, and there are so many to choose from! I don't even know the one you mention *note to self: check out "step into design". i adore the home decor ones, especially the foreign ones. i love the mags on digital, tattoo, rock music,....publications have really latched onto cool graphics and they definitely provide inspiration.
Speaking of magazine, congrats on the cover art of Somerset Gallery!
*high five*
Thanks for sharing with the team Kathy.
