Biography
I grew up in a military family and moved around the country frequently as a child. I now live in a suburb of Detroit, MI, with my husband and daughter, our pup and two kitties. My oldest is attending Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, and my youngest is attending an AVEDA Institute to study cosmetology. I attended college in Kalamazoo, MI at Western Michigan University & Bronson School of Nursing, and have since studied photography, calligraphy, graphic design, the art of lampworking (glass bead making), knitting, mixed media art, etc. My first marriage was a disaster, and my second marriage is everything I could've ever hoped for. I've worked as an ER nurse, and ICU nurse, and an OR nurse before taking a quiet, non-stressful job in Cardiology Quality Assurance.
Interests
calligraphy, art journaling, collage, Photoshop, knitting, reading, bike riding, The Jon Stewart show, collecting cool old stuff (I am NOT referring to my husband!), spending time with my children, travel, and learning something new everyday!
